International Pipeline & Coating Conference is returning to Abu Dhabi, UAE – Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi on 12-14 April 2026. The only event of its kind in the region. NMDC Energy (formerly NPCC), a subsidiary of NMDC Group, has been awarded a $254.6 million contract by ADNOC Gas for the next phase of the Sales Gas Pipeline Network Enhancement Program (Estidama).

China Petroleum Engineering Corporation, the construction engineering arm of Chinese oil and gas giant China National Petroleum Corporation, won a USD480 million contract for part of an oil pipeline construction project in the United Arab Emirates, its fourth major contract in the country over the past year.

Saudi Arabia – 23 Feb 2024
The Saudi energy giant has issued letters of intent to contractors for 16 EPC packages of the estimated $10bn third expansion phase of the Master Gas System. Saudi Aramco has selected contractors to execute engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works on the third expansion phase of the Master Gas System network (MGS-3).

Saudi state-owned oil giant Aramco has hired Subsea7 for the replacement of pipeline at its Abu Safa field, offshore Saudi Arabia, under contract worth up to $300 million.

Qatar – 10 Dec 2024
Qatar-Turkey-Europe gas pipeline ambition could be back on following December 10,2024
The original concept for the $10bn, 1,500-kilometre (932-mile) Qatar–Turkey pipeline envisaged gas from Qatar’s part of the vast North Dome/South Pars field in the Gulf (the field is shared with Iran) flowing to Turkey and onwards to Europe. It was to reach Turkey via Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria.

Kuwait – Q4 2024 (NBK)
Citing MEED Projects data, the NBK report said the 2025 project pipeline is estimated to touch KWD7.8 billion ($26 billion), 60 percent of which are in power and water sector. Notable projects for 2025 include the KWD1.2 billion Al-Zour North IWPP Phases 2&3, currently in the bid evaluation phase, and KNPC’s KWD225 million Al-Mutlaa project, which is expected to be awarded in the first quarter of 2025.
